Archived NewsMay 31, 2000To go along with our domain name upgrade back in February (yes, we're still alive and kicking) we've also added email! The website should be fixed soon to reflect the new email addresses for contacting FFRP staff. Till then, please use radioplay@ffmlsearch.com as the address to inquire in to the status of FFRP productions, or to audition, or whatever. February 28, 2000Please update your bookmarks to http://www.radioplay.org/! The FFRP site now has a new domain name (radioplay.org), with a new appearance coming soon! Also, check out the newest version of Ranma is Dead which is updated with all original music written by our very own John Turner! May 12-14 is Anime Central and to celebrate this great con, FFRP will be recording two productions at the Ucchan Okonomiyaki Party email Maxwell_E for more information. The productions will be an Anime version of the popular television show, "Who'se Line is it Anyways" and "WUE For People With Short Attention Spans". UPDATE: I will be posting the script for WUE for people with short attention spans as, unfortunately FFRP was not able to record at Anime Central. If anyone is interested in applying for the role of Ranma, please email Maxwell_E. November 7, 1999The entire website is revamped again. The visual appearance hasn't changed much, but believe me, it's definitely much easier to work on the site now. Instead of trusty ol' Notepad, this version of the site has been created with Adobe GoLive. November 4, 1999M. Directeur (Moi!), Maxwell_E has finally settled down into his new residence. It's been a hectic few weeks, but everything is gearing back up. This Friday, I'm flying out to Virginia Beach for NekoCon! I'll be on the FanFic panel trying to plug FFRP. See you there! October 7, 1999Hearts of Ice is now a FFRP Production! October 5, 1999Serveral new updates to report! First off, we have implemented two new mailing lists: The Radioplay Announce List and The Radioplay Discussion List, just send a blank email to either (or both) address for your latest FFRP news and discussion. Also, we've gone live at www.mp3.com/FFRP. Hopefully this will allow us permanent storage for all our radioplays and parodies. Also, hopefully it will allow people who have slow internet connections the ability to purchase compilation CDs (for a nominal fee, ~$5 USD) from MP3.com. September 13, 1999While waiting for the moon to crash into the earth and for auditions, I decided to finally implement the guestbook thingy that Lorien set up for me. Right. Sign it. You know you want to. September 9, 1999Due to a scheduling war with RL, yours truly has had a bit of a backup, but as some of you may have noticed, the Taming of the Horse script is now available, XML'ized by everyone's favorite webmaster, Zenki. August 31, 1999I have received an official script for Taming of the Horse from Gary Kleppe that has been OK'd by Vincent Seiffert. I'm going to set the official start date for a casting this Saturday (9/4). Please send your auditions to Maxwell_E as a 22050 Hz Mono wav, at 16 bits (Official lines will be made available on the ToTH page on Saturday). On that note, there are four spots available for In Between Jobs the cast members of RiD will be given the opportunity to act a short spoof on a spoof... (^^;;;) The audition doors are open for IBJ, so get 'em on out to me. Also, I've been experimenting with a Shoutcast server to play FFRP productions, plus assorted anime music. If it turns out to be something that people enjoy, and barring technical constraints, the possibility of a 24/7 365 FFRP station exists. Let me know what you folks think. Update: 9/9 Unfortunately, bandwidth being what it is, it looks like a FFRP radiostation is not possible. (Unless of course, someone would like to donate some relay servers and BW. ^_^ Thanks for the comments received on it. |
