This section is still under severe construction At 141000 miles and three weeks left to the sweltering heat of Summer
2002, the air conditioning compressor quit. I mean absolutely
quit. The air doesn't even get tepid now. Here in the deep south
that's a very bad thing. With summer on the way I have recently
acquired a new compressor, a new expansion valve, an R134a conversion kit
and a new coolant drier and will attempt to install them with the help of my
friend Buck. Cost of the new parts was $525, including a $30 core
charge for the compressor Todd Hill Last updated: Saturday, October 18, 2003 |
