Hey,
Just wanted to let you know that even though some of us don't check
back very often, you are still being followed and well regarded. I
personally know at least half a dozen people in real life who read
your fic and would be saddened to see it abandoned as so many other
great ranma fics of yesteryear have been. Between the departure of so
many authors from the world of ranma and the archiving and decline of
Rakhal, there are very few good long fics left that can be found at
all, let alone still alive.

Not sure how to go into this. My fiance's mother bought Rupert's house in Newberry and I visited there for a short time, over a weekend last March. I don't know if she still lives there... but I knew before I entered the house that a man had taken his life there. When I walked past the smaller bedroom I saw it. There was a presence of unspeakable sadness and anguish there, and I was overcome with empathy for this man I never knew. Later I found some of his documents were left up in the attic, and I learned his name. I'm only a stranger to you, but if you'd like me to recount in more detail what I saw and felt while in that house, I would be glad to do so. I know what it's like to lose a very close friend. May happiness find its way to your life.
Sincerely,
Victoria

I don't know if you even still watch this page. I found it by accident. I was romantically involved with Rupert in 1992. I attended a NUMBER of SCA events with him. I have been a stagehand for 10 years and wanted to catch up with him to let him know my good fortune. I knew he had remarried. I met his older son. I actually lived with him for three weeks. He is the reason my name got shortened from SparrowHawke to Hawke.
What can you tell me about him? About the circumstances surrounding his death? I just found out tonight and feel as though I've been kicked in the stomach.

I purchase a 2001 Mazda 626, still paying for it and have replaced the transmission on March 1,2005. I have had the car back to the repair shop five times since. It is really frustrating, when shortly after I purchased the car I had to have it towed to the Madza dealership, because it would not moved. I put the car in reverse and no matter how much I press the gas to go, it would not move. This happened at least 7 times and Madza has it documented. I still have the car and expecting it to put me down again any day. I can't afford getting another car, but I know that I have no choice. What can be done about this. I have asked numerous 626 owner about their experience and people are frustrated and want help. There has to be something that can be done about this. Can anyone elaborate on what they did, if they received any success in the something done.
